Pakistani Troops Resumes Shelling on Forward Posts along LoC

Pakistani troops resumed shelling and firing on villages along the Line of Control LoC. The International Border (IB) in the Poonch and Kathua districts of Jammu and Kashmir, there’s a violation of the ceasefire.

In the Poonch district along the Loc, mortar shelling started around 2:30 am. Whereas in the Hiranagar sector, cross-border firing started along the International Border which continued throughout the night, the sources said.

The sources even added that there were no casualties or any sort of damage on the Indian side. The firing and shelling between both sides stopped at around 4 am. Pakistani troops started firing on the border outposts in Karol Krishna, Gurnam, and Satpal around 10 pm on Friday. The firing aroused panic among the border residents who spent the night in bunkers in order to save their life.
