Mahila Shakti Kendra Budgam raises awareness on women centric schemes

Budgam:

An awareness programme on Mahila Shakti Kendra (MSK) Scheme and other women centric schemes was organized at Chadoora by District Level Centre for Women Mahila Shakti Kendra (MSK) Budgam.

The DLCW team, on the occasion informed that MSKS is a newly launched Scheme that is meant to provide ‘One Stop Convergent Support Services for Rural Women’ with the opportunities for Skill Development, Employment, Digital Literacy, Health and Nutrition.

Afroza Bhat, the Women Welfare Officer raised awareness among the participants about various Women Specific Schemes such as BBBP, WHL181, OSC, PMMVY, JSY, Ladli Beti, Poshan Abhiyan, Social Welfare Schemes and JKEDI.

Posters were also distributed by the DLCW team among the participants related to MSK and OSC, so that people will get a clear knowledge about how DLCW is working for the empowerment of women and their welfare.

The programme was also attended by CDPO, Gh. Ahmad Mir, Supervisors, AWW’s, ASHA workers, Adolescent girls and other participants as well.
