Kashmir Valley to receive fresh rain and snowfall

SRINAGAR:

India Meteorological Department said, “As temperature is likely to go below the freezing point, the Kashmir Valley is expected to receive fresh rain and snowfall in the upper reaches. The upper reaches of the valley received rain and snowfall last week as well. The Gulmarg’s resort town recorded the lowest minimum temperature of minus 6 degrees Celsius. Jammu and Kashmir recorded minimum temperatures of 9.5 degrees Celsius and 0.8 degrees Celsius respectively while in the beginning of November last year. Kashmir received first heavy snowfall.
